Welcome to Sugar Bones - Where Magic Meets Medicine
5962 Fourth Line Road, North Gower, ON
Sugar Bones Farm was founded by Matthew Stapley, Etienne St-Germain and Trenton Toth in 2024. Born of the idea that as humans we are a part of the earth rather than just living on it, Sugar Bones started off as a dream that has become a reality.

In the dreaming the vision of all that Sugar Bones could become Matthew established a 4-pillar mission:

The first pillar is to bring both natural and spiritual medicines to the world. We seek to bridge the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and community layers of healing through our products, education and services.
The second pillar is to support people with disabilities through employment opportunities. All people are unique, gifted and bring something vitally important to the world.
The third pillar is to give a platform to local creators through our consignment program bringing empowerment to creative individuals through self-employment as much as possible.
The fourth pillar is community service (let us know if you've got a fund raiser coming up!).

It is the unique combination of these four separate but synergistic missions that we hope to create as much positive change as we can in the world.

Meet our team:

Matthew is a psychic-medium, herbalist and teacher. His career has spanned more than 20 years providing insight and spiritual connection for clients world-wide. He is the past television host of both Ottawa Experts and Insights with Matthew which were highly successful call-in shows on the Rogers TV network. He has since been a popular media guest on radio, television and in print in Ottawa and beyond. His educational career is robust. He began as a student of nursing and then became a medical lab tech. After that he studied ministry and pastoral care. He also earned diplomas in nutrition, fitness, and EFT before graduating as a Chartered Herbalist from Dominion Herbal College. Matthew is a licensed minister in Ontario and was the assistant pastor of the OISC in Westboro.

Etienne St-Germain is an avid learner, skilled tarot reader and intuitive. He works hard to bring healing, support and advice to those around him. Etienne holds a diploma in travel and tourism, is the strategic planner at Sugar Bones Farm and keeps all of our ducks in a row (did I mention that we're going to be getting ducks?).

Trenton Toth is an energy sensitive and a mechanics wizard. Having grown up on a farm himself he has a vast knowledge of farming related activities, plant and animal care, maintenance and building. In addition to his work in the management side of the farm he is also the general manager of Gullymead Storage which is located on the farm's property.

We look forward to meeting you!
